An ordained minister with the Universal Foundation for Better Living, Rev. Sherri James holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MFA from the University of Southern California. She is the Creator of the bible Hangout (a weekly online Bible study) and Co-Founder of the Wealth Habits Academy (wealthhabitsacademy.com). Prior to becoming Senior Minister of Understanding Principles, which was founded by Rev. Della Reese, Rev. James worked in the entertainment industry as a producer and writer. Her church, Understanding Principles (UP Church), is located in Inglewood, CA. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and Jack and Jill of America, Pasadena Chapter.
