Trust on the Lord, and do good: so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily shalt be fed. Psalm 37:3
Right thinking and living is spiritual life insurance. We are secure from all evil when we view life as it is in God. This establishes us in law and order, and no accident can befall us. Disorderly thinkers have disorderly experiences. Those who sense and assimilate the Law of the universe rise into a way of life that is one of order. The Presence of God enfolds us, indwells us and operates through us, but unless we know this we experience fear. As fear ensnares us in its false conclusions, we become accident prone. As faith takes hold of us, we become poised and established in order. There are no accidents for God is Law, and Law bespeaks order. Each accident is merely the effect of a hidden cause within the one experiencing it. As we trust in the Lord and His Law of cause and effect, we set up only positive causes and receive only positive effects. Thus, we are set free from the belief in accidents, and God’s Presence is our security.
Today Law and Order are the basis of my living. I refuse to believe that I can be the victim of circumstances. Nothing can happen to me that is not caused by me. I now dedicate my thinking to the perfect ideas of the Spirit, and I do not set up any disorderly causes which will produce disorderly effects. I live in God. I think with the Mind of God. I am secure in the divine protection of an unfailing Presence and an unlimited Power. I give orderly thinking to my world and receive orderly results from my world. My knowledge of the Truth has set me free from the confusions of false thinking. I know that only good will happen to me today.
