Matthew 19:23-26

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it will be hard for a rich person to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astounded and said, “Then who can be saved?” But Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but for God all things are possible.”

Deeper Meaning of the Scripture

The kingdom of God is the Christ consciousness. It’s the awareness of oneness with God. The LOVE spot.

The kingdom of heaven is the harmony of the soul (within) and body (your outer body, life world and affairs).

The rich person that Jesus is referring to has nothing to do with money. It’s where you seek your wealth or where you seek your value.

Luke 15:17-18 “But when he came to himself he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired hands have bread enough and to spare, but here I am dying of hunger! I will get up and go to my father…'”

Thesis: I think, feel, speak, act and react like whatever has my attention. The healing that seems to elude me is simply a matter of who and what has my attention. A mind focused on health produces health; a mind focused on wealth produces wealth.

Point #1: I combine with what I notice.
Point #2: My healing is not waiting on outer conditions.
Point #3: Only notice and identify with the things of God.

Healing Treatment: My healing is in my hands. All power and authority in Heaven and on Earth have been given to me. I now send the pure white light of Christ through my body to heal every cell, every tissue, every fiber. Everything in my body now works the way it was designed to work. I AM in perfect health because I AM health. I am filled from end to end with the Living Energy of the One Power and One Presence. These words set up a healing vibration at the center of my being that radiates outward, healing everything in its path. I am well! I am well! I AM well!

You are Spirit – Soul – Body. Your Soul has three parts:

Superconscious part or Christ mind

Conscious part or Intellect

Subconscious part or Creative mind

“The regeneration is accomplished through the use of affirmations and denials as a means to cleanse the entire consciousness. Then the Holy Spirit has a clear path to express through. This process is an inner toil, and you can do your mental work in any kind of physical environment. However, your inner self must be still, relaxed and calm.” (Page 55)

KEY POINT: My main point is to reinforce that if you want to Open Your Mind to a different experience, you must speak Truth to the thoughts and feelings you have empowered with your attention and words.

REALITY VS. EXISTENCE:
Reality Includes: Realm of pure potential – God ideas | The heavens | Access through conscious contact with God – prayer, meditation the Silence and just Being

Existence Includes: Realm of expression | The earth | Accessible through the five senses | The byproduct of our thinking | The collective consciousness.

By “turn within” we mean centering your thoughts on the One Power, the One Presence, the omnipotent, omnipresent , and omniscient God. With your thoughts centered on God, you can only demonstrate in your life the nature of God the Absolute Good. Often, I do not name maladies, such as cancer, arthritis, etc., because I do not want these names to become part of my consciousness. Instead, I create a word like “bonkus of the conkus.” Bonkus is a mixture of bunkum and bogus! (Page 56)

Point #1: Health is your birthright.

Point #2: I am the architect of my experience.

Point #3: I am the thinker that thinks the thought that creates the thing. 

Point #4: If you cannot let the circumstance of your birth be a source of motivation, then change the story you tell about the circumstance of your birth.

Point #5: The creation story is God’s plan document for your life.

Point #6: Nothing external to you has any power over you.

Point #7: The crack in your cocoon does not mean a corresponding crack in the cocoons of those around you.

Burning Bowl 2021: Let Go and Let God Take You Higher

“If anyone comes to me and does not hate father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters—yes, even their own life—such a person cannot be my disciple” (Luke 14:26).

Point #1 – Every year gives us a chance to begin again. Burning bowl is a symbolic representation of our intention to begin again.

Point #2 – To make the effort to change requires faith— you must step forward with no guarantee that things will work out in the end. It’s not changing that is tough; it’s putting forth the effort with no guarantee of success.

Point 3 – Letting go is a process. We must release what we think we know and feel passionately about for the greater. We must become as a little child.

Peace Reloaded

“But seek first the kingdom and its righteousness, and all these things shall be yours as well” (Matthew 6:33).

“Let what you say be simply ‘yes’ or ‘no’; anything more than this comes of evil” (Matthew 5:37).

“The kingdom of heaven (peace and harmony) is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it” (Matthew 13:45, 46).

Key definition: Peace is harmony and tranquility derived from awareness of your relationship with God; the more you understand your relationship with God, the more peace expresses through you.

What does it mean to be a peacemaker? A peacemaker is one who has the ability to say “peace” to the turbulent waves of thought and have them obey. A peacemaker is one who reduces to peace and harmony all the thoughts of strife, anger and retaliation in his own mind. How Do You Reload Peace?

Point #1 – Peace of mind is available to each human being in direct proportion to each human being’s desire for it and initiative in achieving it.

Point #2 – Fame, fortune, success, good health, power, and all other such attributes are “things.” The kingdom is where peace dwells. And where peace dwells, all things can be achieved.

Point 3 – When the roar in our minds tries to overpower us with force, our disarming mechanism is our ability to become still, to quiet the mind, to curb unruly emotions and feelings, and to say no to all else but peace.

Point #4 – Peace of mind results when one stills the stormy seas of the mind.

Point #5 – Rushing the restoration of control over your mind can create more inner conflict.

Point #6 – It behooves all of us to get on with the job of transforming misunderstanding into understanding and to pay everything we have, and give everything we have, and do all the mental, physical, and emotional work necessary to achieve the pearl of great value, peace of mind.

Sermon – Advent 2020: Joy Reloaded

Scripture – John 15:7-11

“If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. I have said these things to you so that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be complete.”

Key definition: Joy is the happiness of God expressed through His perfect idea–You. Joy and gladness are strength-giving, especially if the mind is fixed on the things of Spirit.

How Do You Reload Joy?

Point #1 – Realize that joy comes from within.

Point #2 – Call if forth.

Spirit of the living God, rise afresh as me.

Spirit of the living God, rise afresh as me.
