Joshua 6:1-5 “Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in.

2 And the Lord said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor.

3 You shall march around the city, all you men of war; you shall go all around the city once. This you shall do six days.

4 And seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark. But the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets.

5 It shall come to pass, when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; then the wall of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up every man straight before him.”

You must see it in your mind before you have can it in your hand.

Faith

MOSES

Moses represents that level of awareness we all have that KNOWS the truth.
Our Moses consciousness has an understanding of the truth but Team Moses is still in relationship with fear, doubt and complaining.

Joshua

Joshua represents that level of awareness when we are LIVING the truth. It’s that God awareness within us that knows the desire of my heart is mine.
Team Joshua believes in the possibility of good, is obedient to divine wisdom and is receptive to the power of God active within.

The Command and the Promise – Joshua 1:2

“My servant Moses is dead. Now proceed to cross the Jordan, you and all this people, into the land that I am giving to them, to the Israelites.”

The Mindset – Joshua 1:3,5,7-9

Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given to you, as I promised to Moses.
No one shall be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you.
Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to act in accordance with all the law that my servant Moses commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, so that you may be successful wherever you go.
This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to act in accordance with all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall be successful.
I hereby command you: Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

The Timing – Joshua 1:10-11

Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, “Pass through the camp, and command the people: ‘Prepare your provisions; for in three days you are to cross over the Jordan, to go in to take possession of the land that the Lord your God gives you to possess.”

The Covenant

I am ready for my Adventure in Faith.
I see the divine opportunity designed just for me and I wholeheartedly say YES GOD!
I am strong – I will withstand the temptation to dream small or stay the same.
I am courageous – I travel as the power, love and life of God. I have no reason to fear.

NOTHING CAN STOP ME!

I think thoughts, feel feelings and speak words that reflect my promise being fulfilled.
I live in a state of perpetual gratitude.
I move on UP!
I Move Into My Promised Land Now!

Week 2: Adventure in Faith – Move Into Your Promised Land

Scripture: Joshua 6:6-7

So Joshua son of Nun summoned the priests and said to them, “Take up the ark of the covenant, and have seven priests carry seven trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark of the Lord.” To the people he said, “Go forward and march around the city; have the armed men pass on before the ark of the Lord.”

The Covenant

I am ready for my Adventure in Faith.

Joshua gave instructions to:

THE PRIESTS:

The priests represent your habitual, patterned thinking. They are the laws you live by in your mind.

THE PEOPLE:

The people represent the congregation of your thinking and feelings about your promised land.

Joshua gave instructions to The Priests:

“Take up the ark of the covenant”

Listen to your intuition.

Know that you are a spiritual being and that your spiritual nature is your real self.

“have seven priests carry seven trumpets of ram’s horns in front of the ark of the Lord”

Seven Priests represent faith in the power of Spirit.

Your thoughts (thinking and feeling) and words must be in harmony with the Truth.

Use the affirmations and denials

Tools for consciousness transformation = tools for changing your old thought patterns

DENIALS

Denials are releasing the lies that are on repeat in your mind.

Denials clear away belief in the lies you tell yourself about yourself and your promised land.

Deny gently.

AFFIRMATION

Affirmations are statements about what’s spiritual true about you.

Affirm the truth about yourself that does not change.

Speak affirmations boldly!

Instructions to the People:

“Go forward and march around the city; have the armed men pass on before the ark of the Lord.”

Go forward being led by the Spirit.

Anything the intellect presents must reflect your divine nature.

“Go forward and march around the city; have the armed men pass on before the ark of the Lord.”

The armed men is the spoken word locked and loaded with the truth. The “I can” and “I will” mindset.

Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do.
